Specialization and experience

I am a physician with many years of experience in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, and emergency medical care.

Throughout my professional career, I have worked in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the United States, gaining valuable experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive care of pediatric patients.

I received my medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava. I began my career at the Pediatric and Infant Department of the Hospital and Polyclinic in Skalica. I later completed specialist training in pediatrics, followed by professional training in pediatric cardiology at the Children’s Cardiac Center in Bratislava. I continued to develop my medical knowledge and practical experience in Brno, where I focused on emergency and acute care for pediatric patients.

During my time in the United States, I held a senior clinical position, where I gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions, particularly heart rhythm disorders.

An important part of my professional journey was also my ten years of work with a foreign diplomatic mission in Bratislava, where I provided medical care to international employees and their family members. This experience reinforced my belief that excellent medical care requires not only expertise and responsibility, but also discretion, trust, and an individualized approach to every patient.

My Approach to Patient Care

In my work, I combine many years of medical experience with a compassionate, empathetic, and respectful approach.

I believe that high-quality healthcare begins with careful listening and a genuine understanding of the needs of both the child and their parents. Accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment are essential parts of medical care, but equally important are building mutual trust, maintaining open communication, and creating a sense of reassurance and security.

I see every child as a unique individual and approach each patient personally, taking into consideration their health, individual needs, and circumstances. It is important to me that parents understand their child’s medical condition, have the opportunity to ask questions, and feel confident that their concerns are being heard and taken seriously.

My goal is to provide professional, responsible, and compassionate medical care in an environment where both children and their parents feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the care they receive.

Medicine is constantly evolving, which is why continuing education and staying up to date with the latest medical knowledge are a natural and important part of my professional life. I believe that combining extensive clinical experience, modern medical knowledge, and a genuinely human approach is the foundation of excellent healthcare.

A Little About Me :)

Family is the greatest value in my personal life. My husband Gary and I have two adult daughters, who are a wonderful source of joy and inspiration to me.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and gardening, and I continue to follow new developments and trends in healthcare with the same enthusiasm and curiosity that I bring to my medical practice.

I speak Slovak, English, and Russian.
